At least, people from the previous generation won’t be able to say and At least, people from the previous generation won’t be able to say and claim that they have been through the worst and yet managed to stay with their honour and dignity (inside four walls, serving their husbands more like a slave than a wife, being dependent on their sons, having nowhere to go if their husbands die or left them etc) as many have the prejudice of it all depending on a woman! Their prejudice is, women are responsible for their own deeds! Be it being raped, tortured, widowed or divorced! And of course, “‘keep silence, have patience’” is the ultimate justice they could provide. Making sure, their daughters know, it’s advisable and wise for her to just go through it and never protest as good daughters never say no and let it all go. Our generation went far beyond that! Seeing, witnessing, facing the absolute worst! If yet our generation lacks to have the utmost respect for women, I don’t know ...
